I have always been involved with nature.  I find my inspiration in rock formations, the animal form, the architecture of nests, and skeletal structures.  A sculptor can take much from nature where there are no lines, only edges.

I see no conflict in working back and forth between realism and abstraction, because for me, the elements of the language of art I use are the same for all the work I create with an ultimate goal of motion and emotion … always striving to achieve works that compel the viewer to look further.
